In this study we work with Scottish Drugs Forum to ensure the study is designed and conducted with input from people with lived experience of benzodiazepine use. We engage in regular discussions with people who use drugs to understand what they think about the study and anything we need to consider at each stage of the trial. From the outset we have consulted with people about the trial and below we describe how feedback has shaped the study, which we share back to people who have given us feedback.
