Information on the research interests, projects, and members of Adriana Tavares' Research Group. Image Prof Adriana TavaresPersonal Chair of Translational Molecular ImagingResearchThe Tavares team’s research focuses on the discovery, development, and translation of new molecular imaging biomarkers for disease diagnosis and prognosis, as well as for application in treatment efficacy studies. The team’s research portfolio includes several radiotracer development projects at different stages of the discovery pipeline. Furthermore, the team actively develops innovative image analysis solutions for quantification of whole-body molecular imaging studies, including kinetic modelling and network analysis. Beyond academic research projects, members of the team also have hybrid role responsibilities, supporting imaging service provision at the Preclinical PET Facility. For a list of up-to-date publications, please visit:Adriana Tavares' Profile Page Research Group MembersNameRoleEmailCarlos Alcaide CorralSenior Preclinical PET Research Associatecalcaide@ed.ac.ukBea AndrewsPhD students1726219@sms.ed.ac.ukLeonardo BarzonPhD student Liam CarrPostdoctoral Scientist in Biomedical Technologyliam.carr@ed.ac.ukIslay CranstonResearch Technician (micro-PET)icransto@ed.ac.ukAbigail HellmanPhD studenta.f.hellman@ed.ac.ukAngus JacobsPhD studentangus.jacobs@ed.ac.ukPhyo KhaingClinical Research Fellowpkhaing@ed.ac.ukMark MacaskillResearch Fellowmark.macaskill@ed.ac.ukKerry O’RourkeRadiochemistry Postdoctoral Scientistkorourk2@ed.ac.ukKelly PanichnantakulPhD studentp.panichnantakul@sms.ed.ac.ukVictoria ReidResearch Technician (Research & Development)vreid2@exseed.ed.ac.ukDániel RétiPhD studentd.reti-1@sms.ed.ac.ukRobert ShawPostdoctoral Scientist in PET Neuroimagingrshaw33@ed.ac.ukCampbell WattTranslational Project Managercwatt34@ed.ac.ukCam WheelerPhD studentcam.wheeler@ed.ac.uk This article was published on 2024-03-19
