Fire Stewards

Fire safety arrangements for University buildings on the Little France campus are monitored by appointed Fire Wardens who conduct weekly checks in their respective areas, as well as extra programmes of inspections led by the University’s Fire Safety Unit.

Fire Steward is a voluntary role within the University but CVS aim to provide at least one fire steward in every main laboratory area to provide cover across the Centre.
