Information on the CVS 'Bug' Lab Our “bug lab” is located in C3.06 which can be used to grow and propagate gram negative bacteria only. We have two MaxQ 6000 incubator shakers and an Innova 4200 incubator shaker. The room is also equipped with two centrifuges and a U-I500 Spectrophotometer with a floor standing Beckman J2-MC centrifuge located in C3.05. LB agar and LB broth along with plates, plate spreaders and colony pickers are supplied as general consumables. If you wish to use this room you must- Ensure you have read and signed the relevant GM, BA and CVS RA for your work in this room.
