Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP) It is extremely important that people with any form of mobility impairment, whether temporary or permanent, including people who may not be able to hear fire alarms, should report these facts immediately to their senior laboratory manager so that special arrangements can be made for their protection in the event of a building emergency. During an emergency evacuation we are required to leave the building immediately, if you are mobility impaired (or become mobility impaired for a period of time) and/or dependent upon the lifts to move between floors, you will require a PEEP. Please follow this link, Assisted Evacuation forms, fill out the relevant form and send to catherine.duff@ed.ac.uk in the first instance. This article was published on 2024-03-19
